How to ask good questions @ a reading

YOU WORKED HARD ON YOUR HARD EARNT MONEY.

YOU’RE NEW TO THIS WHOLE IDEA OF THINGS EXISTING BEYOND A PHYSICAL PLANE OF SENSATIONS BUT YOU’RE WILLING TO DO A READING.

YOU FOUND THIS “PSYCHIC” FAM WHO YOU COULD ENTRUST ENOUGH WITH YOUR PROBLEMS SO HECK YOU’RE GONNA DO THE THING.

NOW.

How do you ask good questions?

As someone who is both an intuitive reader and someone who has immensely benefited from advice via people with cards – here’s three advice i WISH I HEARD STARTING OUT. A lot of them sound common sense but these get thrown out the window when you start dabbling and mystical shit noh? WELL. PUT IT BACK!!! I KNOW THE MIND CAN BE PAINFUL, BUT IT’S JUST A KNIFE. Use it to cook things not stab yourself yeah? SO  ‘ERE GOES. How to ask good questions in your next reading?

  1. Be honest. with yourself.

Write out your thoughts, your questions and please sift out your own Bullshit. Yeah you know it. Please don’t decorate it with fancy sugar sprinkles of ‘oh woe is me’. Slap yourself into a different state of mind and ask this at least 1,000 times: WHat is THE ACTUAL PROBLEM. AND GET DAMN REAL.

People often ask super general questions to “test a reader”. you are wasting your time, you’re adding “vague, disconnected, ‘doesn’t know what he/she wants” to all the energies dancing around in your aura. We’re here to help you gain clarity on your problem ,and we take that VERY SERIOUSLY. That’s a literal block to your energetics, don’t lie about it.

Example: there was a time (quite damn recently), that I kept wailing to the gods feeling lost about my plans. I was blaming moon energies, I was saying things like “I’m dealing with a lot of subconscious movement and I just can’t interpret the signs” with  “the cards are not clicking into place for me,” and the best  “WHERE ARE MY GUIDES??!!!@$?”

And you know what? the problem wasn’t mystical.

The Problem, the Truth was:

“I’ve become overdependent on spiritual hoohaa to make the next best decision for me that it’s become unhealthy. I’ve been making it an excuse to not think for myself. I’m INFATUATED, with the idea of something beyond helping us – but that’s for the price of rendering myself into a someone who needs help.”

“I should just damn well help myself and make a damn descision”.

Mind you, arriving at this truth hurt. It’s so much easier to be a victim. Owning up to your problems with the most sober “REAL AF EYE LENSES” is one of the most refreshing things you could do for yourself.

So if I were to approach a reader or guides with the same issues in mind, I’d ask instead:

“So I made these plans, but I’m new to all of this. Can you give me ideas to make me feel safer doing this? Maybe make it fun so that I don’t scare myself to shits?”

that’s a good question. you know why?

2. It’s empowering.

BE aware of your language and how you perceive your capacity to find the answer.

How many times do you get questions that start with “I’m really struggling/ I’m having a hard time/ here’s 500 words of how much I’m worrying myself to death about something outside of my control and I’m asking a psychic to fortell the future that i can finally just aggressively ruminate over an arbitrary date where things will magically fix themselves and i can finally be okay with this.

EEK. yeouch!!!

#ohHELLLNO.

Baby. Baby okay I get it that you’re having a hard time. But (1) that’s not how readings work, and for readers who rob their clients of their capacity to grab the reins of their own future – you KNOW you’re not helping so stap. it.

(2) we can walk you over with baby steps to actually grabbing your problem by the reins, but please don’t see yourself as a baby. If you can read this, you probably have internet, and surprisingly, you can be an adult. Walk into a reading like a BOSS. Someone who’s the best authority of knowing yourself and someone who’s deciding to get fresh perspective.

Don’t throw yourself desperate. Wanna know why?

Example: I’ve done that.

I’ve done the whole embarrassing 12 rounds of flinging myself into the next intuitive, therapeutic tool that would hopefully magically fix my life like *snap. like that. Not that those don’t help it’s just that the energy you start these things with the (OHMYGADDD IVEHADENOUGHHH RUN AWAY FROM MY PROBLEMS PA MORE)

Is just. Can you go back to number 1? NO BULLSHIT. So that you could do number 2? I’M HELPING MYSELF. Say that to yourself ten million times. “I’m helping myself. I’m helping myself. I’m helping myself. I’m helping myself. I’m helping myself. I’m helping myself. I’m helping myself. I’m helping myself.”

You’re getting ideas from other planes and persons. You have a teacher pointing the way. BUT IT’S ONLY REALLY YOU WHO ACTUALLY DOES THE HEALING.

IT’S YOU unblocking you’re own psychic blocks.

When you have a swimming instructor showing you how to swim, you actually have to do the paddling and arm turning in the end. YOU’RE THE ONE SWIMMING. You’re the one living on your life, don’t be overly dependent on readers, doctors, parents or advisors to enlighten you because YOU’RE THE ONE SWIMMING. SO SWIM. Get into the reading with that perspective and exponentially better progress is safely assured.

3. Finally, MAKE ROOM, to ask further questions.

If you find the right reader, your experience can surely be a party. With tons of ideas and spreads and just revelations abound. Cool. Voice out how you understand it and see if you got it right.

ESPECIALLY WITH THE IMPORTANT REVELATIONS.

Make sure to double down, or ask into it further. I say quality trumps quantity, it doesn’t matter if the only thing you talked about was love life, if you finally got over it – it was worth the bang for your buck. Also this is a good way to synthesize everything so MAKE TIME. LEAVE ROOM TO DIGEST THE STUFF.
